Includes Accessibility Advosiry Committee:
- a resource group that reports directly to City Council on issues, needs, and services related to persons with disabilities and requires an understanding of the community at large and determining the link of these needs to Council's strategy and policy direction
- advises Council and Administration on potential policies, or policy changes that affect access, inclusion, and issues of concern to persons with disabilities
- engages with the broad communities of persons with disabilities in meaningful ways and ensuring the advisory committee has the necessary information to undertake its advisory role
- educates Council, Administration, and the public on issues of inclusion and accessibility
