- While the Partners make every effort to ensure that all information
provided in the Site does not contain computer viruses, users should
take reasonable and appropriate precautions to scan for computer
viruses and ensure that they have complete and current backups
where appropriate on their systems. Users should pay specific attention
to newer viruses that have been written to automatically execute
when an infected word processing document is loaded into certain
word processing programs.
(i) Choice of Law
- The laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable
therein shall govern as to the interpretations, validity, and effect
of this agreement notwithstanding any conflict of laws provisions
or domicile, residence or physical location of the user. The user
hereby consents and submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts of the Province of Alberta in any action or proceeding,
instituted under or related to this agreement.
j) Submissions
- All information submitted to the Partners via the Site shall
be deemed and remain the property of the Partners and shall be
free to use, for any purpose, idea, concept, know-how or other
techniques contained in information provided to the Partners. The
Partners shall not be subject to any obligations of confidentiality
regarding any such information submitted to it unless specifically
agreed to by the Partners or required by law.
k) FOIPP
- The material in the Site is intended only for the purpose of
accessing general information about services and organizations
and related information through hyperlinks. Its contents are protected
by privilege, and all rights to privilege are expressly claimed
and not waived. Further information which is confidential or personal
will be subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of
Privacy (FOIPP) Act and other relevant legislation.

of terms contained with the Site were originally obtained from
