<p>In-persons service include:</p>
<ul>
<li>assessment / ressessment. The majority of clients are first seen by a physiotherapists and then referred as needed to the other services</li>
<li>education provided as applicable, and referral to Parkinson Association of Alberta or MS Canada if wished</li>
<li>following assessment - options of treatment discussed may include: home based, one on one with therapy assistant or applicable allied health therapist, in-person group and / or Zoom based groups (voice, hands, cardio, boxing, exercise, etc.)</li>
<li>yearly reassessment for those actively being seen</li>
</ul>
<p>For those that cannot come in-person (primarly physical therapy and speech language pathologists):</p>
<ul>
<li>client is often referred by their local allied health provider</li>
<li>depending on service they wish to access they will be asked to see their local AHS or private therapist for assessment</li>
<li>discussion will occur with local therapist and client will be assigned to appropriate Zoom groups</li>
<li>reassessment to be done yearly by their local therapist if actively involved in program</li>
</ul>
