InformAlberta is a provincial online directory of more than 9,000 community, health, social and government services that are publicly funded and/or not-for-for profit.
The directory is maintained by the following InformAlberta partners who ensure the accuracy of the information and continually add new organizations and services:

- Alberta Health Services
- Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region
- Distress Centre Calgary
- 211 Alberta
- Health Link 811
Information added to InformAlberta supplies verified data to platforms such as 211 Alberta, Alberta Health Services, and the Alberta Referral Directory. When information is updated in InformAlberta, those changes automatically flow to connected systems, ensuring Albertans access the most current service details.
The directory does not contain any third-party advertising, nor is it supported through sponsorships.
InformAlberta is also one of many provincial partners in the national InformCanada network of community information and referral services.
- Service: An activity or support offered to clients (e.g., financial support, counselling, lending library, etc.).
- Location: The building or site where an organization or service is offered.
- Organization: A company, association, or group providing a selection of services or activities to their clients.
- Directories: Organized lists of frequently-used services.
- Listing/Item: A single organization, service, or location.
- Profile: The details for a specific organization, service, or location. The profile includes basic information such as location, hours of operation, a map, applicable fees, and contact information.

You do not need to log in to InformAlberta to search for organizations or services.
- Start by entering your text (e.g., respite care). After three characters, a list of possible search terms will display. Choose one of the options from the list.
- Optional: If you would like to limit your search by postal code, add the postal code in the corresponding field. You can choose to limit listings to a 75 km radius or look up a postal code.
- Optional: If you would like to limit your search by city, add the city in the corresponding field. You can choose to limit listings to a 75 km radius.
- Optional: You can also filter your results by record type, including location, organization, service, or virtual/phone services.
- Click Search to display organizations, services, and locations that have the keyword(s) in the record name or subject.
Note: If search results are not populating correctly, please check your Internet browser version. Out-of-date versions may cause some features or functions to not work properly.

If you are the page owner and need to make changes, please follow these steps:
- At the top right-hand side of the page, click Is this information correct? If not, click here.
- Input the correct information into the fields.
- Enter your contact name, title, telephone number, email, and comments.
- Choose I’m not a robot.
- Click Send.
