Provides the investigation of domestic violence and victim support.
Service offers:
investigation of serious and chronic domestic abuse cases and provision of victim support
elder abuse team
help to complainants in navigating the legal system and connection of the victims to support services within the community
assistance to those being abused or harassed or know of someone who is
investigation of high risk criminal harrassment and stalking complaints
District 5 pilot project (Domestic Conflict Resource Team) in which an officer and a social worker attend domestic incidents where charges are not involved in order to help resolve issues before they escalate
