Includes 12 FASD Service Networks located throughout Alberta that provide community-based supports and services to Albertans with FASD and their caregivers.
The FASD Service Networks provide:
- programs and services that actively promote that drinking no alcohol during pregnancy is best
Includes:
- assessment and diagnosis
- programs that address prevention and awareness
- support services for people with FASD and their caregivers
- 12 FASD Service Networks that deliver FASD-informed services across the province. There are 11 geographically-based Networks and one serving Métis settlements
- a holistic, client-focused approach to work with community partners to deliver culturally appropriate services to all Albertans
The networks are comprised of community agencies and organizations that provide FASD-related supports and services.
