- education of Canadians by means of various publications which provide diverse and informative analysis on urban policy trade, Indigenous issues, environmental issues, human capital, regional development, economic diversification, and constitutional questions and natural capital
- workshops, online information and sponsorship of conferences and seminars
- distribution of information and public debate based on the work of recently completed research projects concerning Western Canada
