St. Albert Grief Walks include:
- free, volunteer-led walking program paced for conversation and connection for anyone who self-identifies as grieving a loss
- social support and the healing benefits of movement in nature
- a safe, welcoming space to connect with others, enjoy gentle outdoor activity, and find companionship without pressure to share
- weekly, year round walks (indoors during winter); participants are often older adults, but all are welcome
Caregiver Peer Support Groups include:
- a free support group led by a trained facilitator offering a safe, understanding space for those caring for someone with a life-limiting illness
- connection, shared experiences, and emotional support to help caregivers feel less alone
