Service provides:
- outreach services and direct support to empower victims of domestic violence, racism, discrimination, and hate crimes
- essential tools to assist individuals, especially newcomers, to navigate legal, family, and social justice systems and make informed choices regarding violence and legal matters
Includes:
- a culturally sensitive and linguistically inclusive approach
- information on domestic violence, racism / discrimination, hate crimes, and the family / legal court system
- assistance in accessing legal services and community resources, bridging connections between social, criminal justice, and legal service providers
- facilitating access to emergency protection orders and financial benefits
- guidance for parents in making informed decisions about children facing violence and bullying
- advocacy for justice and human rights for parents and children and support for the entire family
- collaborations with community partners to strengthen family connections
