Service targeted to:

• 18 years and older (and their dependents)
• who are living with mental health challenges
• and who are provisionally or precariously accommodated in Edmonton, with limited barriers to independence

Examples include:

• housed but the situation is deemed unsafe / unhealthy by the caller, an eviction notice has been issued, or mediation / intervention required to avoid eviction
• recently lost housing and could be rapidly rehoused
• have or will obtain income and identification
• limited barriers to housing
• couch surfing with friends or family (staying / living there but not on the lease)
• permanent residency / citizenship for newcomers / refugees

Housing instability can be addressed within short term phone / e-mail sessions with the Housing Diversion team. If a Housing First model is required, refer to Co-ordinated Access with Homeward Trust Edmonton.
