YAS Recovery Supports offers wellness-oriented, recovery-focused programming tailored to the domains of the Transition to Independence Process Model, for those 16 - 25 years of age who are living with an addiction and / or mental health challenge.
This program utilizes an experiential learning approach to develop recreation, leisure, social, and personal skills. It provides high quality social, recreation and wellness programming to inspire young people through meaningful experiences, connections and community alongside their recovery goals. Programming focuses on different domains of wellness including social, physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual. This includes groups and programming focusing on mindfulness, creativity, education and employment, leisure and personal wellness.
