Service provides:
- a temporary shelter residence that can provide safety and support to up to 96 women at a time on a first come first served basis
Includes:
- 24/7 staff support and management of the site for residents including assistance and support to make plans to address their immediate crisis needs and housing plans
- participation of staff and residents in the day-to-day living tasks involved in communal living
- individualized supports and advocacy that focus on the dignity and empowerment of everyone
- basic meals
- showers
- assistance with storing client belongings, including a bike, while they are on campus for intake or during the day program
- housing referrals and case management
- advocacy
- workshops and day programs
- cultural supports
This service is based on a recovery-oriented model of care.
