STI Physician Clinic provides specialized care for sexually transmitted infections (STI) that are unable to be managed by the Calgary STI Nurse Clinic.
The STI Physician Clinic provides complex care for the following patients:
- Neurosyphilis assessments
- Lumbar puncture tests for patients with suspected neurosyphilis
- Complex management for herpes simplex virus (HSV) and human papilloma virus (HPV)
- Unresolved and persistent STI symptoms
