Is a multidisciplinary clinic focused on providing subspeciality, personalized care for patients with bronchiectasis not related to cystic fibrosis.
This clinic is focused on optimizing diagnosis and acute and chronic management of these patients. Patients are assessed and followed by a respiratory physician with expertise and experience in bronchiectasis care. In addition, all patients receive education and training in airway clearance techniques by a subspecialty physiotherapist. A subspecialty pharmacist reviews all patient medications and provides extensive supports for bronchiectasis patients’ medical therapies.
Our clinic focuses on, but is not limited to, patients with bronchiectasis with recurrent exacerbations, frequent / severe symptoms, diagnostic uncertainty and / or Pseudmonas infection or infection with other difficult to treat pathogens.
