This service provides:
- assessment of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases or disorders
- treatment of GI diseases or disorders
- regular preventive monitoring of patients who have a family history of colon cancer
Provides patient education for GI procedures:
- colonoscopy (an exam used to look for changes in the large intestine (colon) and rectum)
- flexible sigmoidoscopy (to look inside your rectum and lower colon)
- gastroscopy (to examine the upper digestive tract)
- esophageal dilatation (a procedure used to widen a narrowed section of your throat) and others
