- customization of courses to match goals, abilities and interests with the advisor and parent's guidance
- curriculum outlined by Alberta Education
- learn at own pace
- at Bishop Carroll High School access to theatre, graphic lab, visual arts lab, fitness class, language resource centre that offers: French, Latin, Japanese and Spanish

- must be 19 years old or younger by September 1st
- must be a legal Canadian citizen or resident with documentation
- must be a legal Alberta resident with documentation
- part-time online courses are offered as a concurrent registration
- students must be registered by September 30th of the school year
- students of all faiths are elligible
