Service provides:

• individualized career and employment coaching, interventions, and resources to help individuals improve their hopefulness and overcome challenges while developing the skills, attitudes and behaviours needed to accomplish their employment goals

Includes:

• access to community, career, employment and training resources and information
• Resource Centre supports such as writing and formatting resumes, accessing online resources, job boards, and the use of a computer, printer, and fax machine
• specialized activities to support the client build higher levels of hope, motivating them towards accomplishing their job / career goals
• individualized training / action plans
• one-on-one or small group instruction to develop the skills and knowledge to find, obtain, and retain employment
• connections to community agencies to help address barriers
• on-the-job training
• connections to employers that are currently hiring and wage subsidies to support employee training
• job search support
• post-employment job retention support
• funding for short-term certification training, such as first aid, construction safety, ProServe, and QuickBooks
