Assessment and treatment of medical inpatients with co-existing psychiatric concerns.
Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry provides psychiatric consultation and assessment(s) to patients admitted to non-psychiatric units at the Peter Lougheed Centre. This service is only available to patients admitted to the Peter Lougheed Centre. Services provided include:
- psychiatric consultation
- psychatric assessment
- referrals for outpatient services, where required
