Collaborative Immunology Clinic:
Patients with suspected immune deficiency/compromise can be referred for specialty assessment by a qualified prescriber (e.g.: Primary Care, specialty provider, Nurse Practitioner, etc.).
SCIg Home Infusion Program:
Patients who meet criteria* for Ig replacement therapy (existing or naïve) can be referred for SCIg infusion training and case-management by a qualified prescriber (i.e.: specialist in hematology, neurology, rheumatology, etc.).
*NOTE: To comply with the Alberta Ministry mandate, all referrals will be screened using the Prairie Collaborative Immune Globulin Utilization Management Framework Project: Criteria for the Clinical Use of Immune Globulin.
Patients of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Immunology Program can also be transitioned / transferred to the CIP for on-going care upon becoming an adult.
