Provides social engagement, safety planning, information, and referrals to support clients' needs.
Service provides:
- information and referrals to other community resources depending on individual needs
- drop-in assistance in planning for safety and seeking mental health supports, and information and guidance to go through the Alberta Health Services’ mental health intake process
Includes referrals to such resources as:
- food and homelessness resources
- income support
- harm reduction material
- access to emergency shelter for women
- clothing
- advocacy through the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Victim Services Unit (VSU)
- elder abuse supports
- mental health supports
