a variety of resources and information to foster neighbourhood connections and help citizens engage in their neighbourhoods
Includes:
block parties
Good Neighbour Recognition Program - an opportunity to recognize a neighbour who has helped in a time of need or has shown leadership through initiatives that help make the neighbourhood safe, connected, and friendly
neighbourhood connectors - an opportunity to build a strongly connected neighbourhood that fosters a sense of belonging, improves personal safety, provides mental and emotional support, and helps children and youth thrive
neighbourhood connection kits - encourages families to better connect with neighbours while exploring St. Albert; includes a walking kit, bird watching kit, a plant kit, and a turquoise table kit
Little Free Libraries - a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbours share their favourite books and literature
