Service provides:

• research related to enhancing the safety and mobility of individuals who no longer drive due to illness or disability or who choose not to drive because of age-related changes
• knowledge translation resources for medically at-risk / impaired drivers and their families, health care professionals, community organizations, and policy makers

Resources include:

• Guide to Mobility and Independence - a comprehensive listing of essential services and transportation providers (both public / specialized transit, and not-for-profit / for-profit organizations) in Edmonton and area, and Calgary and area
• Provincial Listing of Organizations Providing Alternate Transportation for Seniors in Alberta - an online listing of all alternate transportation providers for seniors throughout the province of Alberta (includes for-profit and not-for-profit service providers)
• Unmet Transportation Needs of Seniors and Persons with Disabilities - a collection of reports across Alberta and various Alberta Health Services (AHS) zones
• Transportation Toolkit for the Implementation of Alternate Transportation for Seniors in Rural and Urban Alberta - a toolkit developed for organizations interested in implementing or expanding upon alternate transportation for seniors in their communities
