
Toddler and Family Support Program
Provides a critical early intervention opportunity for young children with disabilities and their guardians to connect and learn from clinical experts and peers, build natural support connections, and lay important groundwork in preparation for preschool and kindergarten.
Service offers:
- a family centered approach
- support of a Child and Family Development Aide, who consults with the family to develop goals and give guidance on strategies
- in-home programming
- 16 weekly group sessions over 6 months to introduce skills and strategies to help support early growth and development
- support in addressing essential development areas for children including communication, social skills, following instructions, attending to activities, fine motor skills, gross motor skills
