Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Treatment, Resources, and Community Supports

Offers mental health supports to children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) who have mental health and / or addiction concerns.
Service provides:
mental health supports to children with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) who also have co-occuring mental health and / or addiction concerns
Includes:
individual, group, and / or family interventions
a mental health and sensory assessment
treatment such as education, sensory and adaptive skills assessments, attachment work, or problem solving skills
support workers who provide individual consultation for treatment, resources, assessment, and referral / follow-up care needs
collaboration between support workers and other care providers who support the family in their community contexts
support to caregivers
access to a Snoezelen Room, a specialized environment that has a blend of sights, sounds, textures, and smells

who are suspected to have or have been diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)
and have emotional, psychological, and / or behavioural challenges
