Provides support to assist people with developmental disabilities living in the community to increase their level of independence.
Service provides:
assistance to people with developmental disabilities who are living in the community to increase life skills and independence
Includes:
learning how to shop for groceries, plan meals, and cook
budgeting skills
learning how to maintain a residence (cleaning, laundry, mail, bills)
assistance with co-ordinating medical and mental health needs
other supports, as necessary
