HOURS OF OPERATION

ELIGIBILITY

Service targeted to:

those who can demonstrate a connection to Canmore through work, residency, or a combination of both
who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents

Title holders must be 18 years and older.

HOW TO ACCESS THIS SERVICE

Application Required

To access service:

obtain an application form by visiting website or visiting office in person
register for and attend an Ownership Information Session
obtain a mortgage pre-qualification letter from a lender
complete the application form
book a 1 hour appointment to submit the application in person

As of January 1, 2023, the Net Asset Limit criteria has been eliminated. The gross household income threshold (2022:$147,423) will also be increased to $250,000.

WAIT PERIOD

FEES

Application fee of $100.00 and purchase price of home. Individuals are responsible for costs related to home ownership, such as, but not limited to, mortgage, insurance, legal fees, condominium fees, and utilities, which are not covered by the purchase price of the home.

Fee reduction may be available

Application fee may be waived upon attending a scheduled Ownership Information Session.
