
Concurrent Addiction and Mental Health Program
Assesses and treats youth with substance, social media, or gaming addictions, as well as co-occurring mental health concerns.
Service provides:
- community, evidence-based assessment and treatment for youth with addiction and mental health concerns
Includes:
- individual, group, and family therapy
- life skills instruction
- medication management
- individualized care plans with practical strategies for each youth and family
- harm reduction and motivational interviewing
- trauma-informed and family-centred approaches that involve a child’s parents or other caregivers as active participants in the treatment
