Service offers:
support to promote the well-being of children, families, and individuals through Aboriginal culture and traditions that are based on the teachings of the Medicine Wheel
Includes:
direct and confidential support
working with families at the point of crisis and promoting positive traditional parenting and living skills that prevent out of home placements of children
traditional parenting workshops
children's cultural and literacy programs
encouraging individuals to engage in self-care through integration of conventional health care and cultural practices
education about health promotion
support with referrals to community health clinics and agencies
