COVID-19 UPDATE: Office is closed. Community facilities are closed. Events are postponed. Online and phone services continue to be available. Residents are asked not to separate their garbage or recycling. Beginning March 23, crews will be picking up two bins per home on the regular collection days, until further notice. In the upcoming days, recycling depots throughout Fort McMurray will be unavailable. Essential services will be provided:
- rural garbage and recycling depots will remain open
- public transit will remain open with increased cleaning and preventive measures in place. Please note, the lost and found will be closed until further notice
- all payment options for utilities, tickets and other Municipal services will continue to be available online
