Responsible for ensuring the development and stewardship of policy documents (policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, standards, directives) within Alberta Health Services.
Manages all aspects of the policy document lifecycle while accountable for the Policy Development Framework and all aspects of the policy development process within Alberta Health Services (AHS). Specifically accomplishing this by:
- identifying clinical and corporate policy needs
- assessing risk and prioritization
- working in partnership with operational leaders and subject matter experts
- consulting and engaging internal and external stakeholders
- facilitating a consistent and systematic approach to policy development and records retention
- creating and maintaining archival and library services for all AHS governance documents
