Service offers:
- receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints filed against Licensed Practical Nurses
Complaints may include, but are not limited to:
- nursing practice and competency concerns
- client neglect / abuse (verbal, physical, or emotional)
- sexual abuse / sexual misconduct
- abandonment of care
- medication administration errors
- client safety concerns
- breach of privacy / confidentiality
- theft / fraud / deceit
- conflict of interest
- boundary concerns / inappropriate relationship
- co-worker harassment / bullying
Please note: funding for counselling or therapy is available for patients involved in a complaint alleging sexual abuse or sexual misconduct by a Licensed Practical Nurse.
