Provides trauma-informed community outreach to promote harm reduction for individuals involved in sex work.
Service offers:
- community outreach and advocacy for individuals involved in sex work
Includes:
- harm reduction education and supplies for safer sex and drug use, including Naxolone kits
- assistance with meeting basic needs, such as snacks, hygenic supplies, phone charging, and weather-appropriate clothing
- health and wellness navigation, including access to medical and mental health services, and accompaniment to appointments
- support with criminalization harm and rights education, court support, probation support, and legal aid
- assisrance with safety planning and support for those who have experienced intimate partner violence, trafficking, or exploitation
- support with accessing income assistance programs, reviewing resumes, obtaining identification, job hunting, and professional development
- information and referral for housing and emergency shelter services, basic needs assistance, and violence prevention resources
- culturally competent spaces with access to Elders, ceremony, and healing for Indigenous clients
