Provides home living support to Deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind adults with developmental disabilities.
Service provides:
a community-based residential and outreach service that promotes well-being, community connectedness, and greater independence
Includes:
building self-esteem and confidence
promoting emotional and physical well-being
teaching life skills (meal planning, budgeting, household tasks)
assistance accessing community resources for medical, financial, vocational, and recreational needs
helping develop communication and social skill
encouraging healthy relationships and connections with social networks
furthering decision-making and personal responsibility
encouraging setting goals and making choices
fostering interests and skill development
