Provides parenting tips, tools, and strategies to encourage appropriate behaviour in children.
Service offers:
parenting programs that aim to foster strong parent-child relationships by empowering parents with tips, tools, and strategies that encourage appropriate behaviour in their children with a strong emphasis on helping children learn, develop, and grow
Includes:
group sessions - 4 sessions, followed by a phone call session the following 3 weeks, and a wrap-up group on the final date, with limited childcare available based on need
discussion groups - explores helpful strategies for common challenges parents face, such as dealing with disobedience, hassle-free shopping with kids, managing fighting and aggression, and more
1-on-1 sessions - parents meet with a practitioner and discuss strategies on how to manage behaviour and promote development
