Aboriginal Parent Child Assistance Program

Offers an intensive home visitation and intervention program for Aboriginal women.
Service offers:
a culturally safe, intensive 3 year home visitation and intervention program for women who are pregnant or 6 months postpartum and dealing with an addiction
Includes:
practical and long - term emotional support
goal setting and identifying steps to achieve them
supports to deal with the addiction and to stay in recovery
information about family planning
transportation to appointments
advocacy and support accessing services such as housing or finding a job
cultural support, access to ceremonies and other cultural programming

are currently pregnant and at risk of having a child with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)
