The Foundation supports all departments at the Valleyview Health Centre by purchasing equipment or furnishings for the facility. Volunteer board members attend meetings every second month at the call of the chair.
The Foundation has purchased numerous pieces of equipment including:
- mechanical patient lift
- lab equipment
- physiotherapy equipment
- food services equipment
- recliner chairs for long term care
- procedural chairs for the IV treatment room
The foundation also provides funding to support further education for nursing staff.
