Offers a 45-minute group exercise program, twice weekly, at a number of sites throughout the city.
Led by certified Older Adult fitness instructors with additional balance and falls prevention training.
Classes include a combination of seated and standing exercises, and highlight balance, posture, and leg and core strength. The focus is on making day-to-day activities easier, helping individuals remain independent, and reducing the risk of falling.
Education is offered to participants on topics related to reducing falls.
