Works with Indigenous children, youth and families through drop in and registered programs that support cultural identity, leadership, recreation and connections to Calgary's urban Indigenous community.
Service offers:
Indigenous Active Life drop in for youth and and young adults for court sports, swimming, cardio, resistance training and more
Indigenous Drum and Dance to enhance skills in Pow Wow dance styles, drumming and Indigenous culture
Indigenous Buddies for emementary school students to learn about culture and traditions
Vision Seekers for Indigenous junior high school students to learn leadership and mentorship skills
YMCA 7th Generation cultural teachings through storytelling, traditional activities, leadership skills, Medicine Wheel Teachings and more
Day camps with cultural activities, storytelling, crafts and other activities
