Teaches musical theatre techniques to individuals with Down syndrome.
Service offers:
musical theatre instruction for children and adults with Down syndrome
Includes:
teaching the art of singing, dancing, and stage presence, (including a final performance) with the assistance of 2 experienced instructors
theatre vocabulary, body awareness, being focused in the moment, and improvisational skills
performing monologues and scenes from literary works and those that the participants create themselves
musical training such as vocal exercises, singing, and dancing, both choreographed and interpretive
opportunities to develop social skills, problem solving, co-operation, and make new friends
various classes based on gender and age group
