Provides comprehensive multidisciplinary care to patients with complex immune deficiencies/ dysregulation or who require immunomodulation. The program ensures the judicious use of blood products, such as antibody replacement therapy, in the management of primary immunodeficiency disorders (PIDD), secondary immune deficiencies (SID), neuromuscular disorders and other indications.
CIP program consists of two parts:
- a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic servicing patients with immune deficiencies
- a training and support program for all patients on SCIg replacement
Patients can be referred to the outpatient clinic by a primary care provider or specialist who suspects immune deficiency. They may also be transferred by the ACH immunology program for ongoing care.
