- presentations at conferences
- income tax preparation training workshops
- information on who can apply for benefits and credits
- information on how to apply for benefits and credits
- information on Canada's tax system
- how to register for and use CRA’s online services
- information on scams and frauds
- information on free tax clinics through the CRA’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and how to become a partner organization
Outreach officers can share information about the importance of tax filing, and benefits and credits, such as:

- Disability tax credit
- Canada Carbon Rebate
- Canada workers benefit
- Child disability benefit
- Canada caregiver credit
