
Toddler and Family Support Program
Provides a critical early intervention opportunity for children with disabilities between 1 and 3 years old and their guardians to connect and learn from clinical experts and peers, build natural support connections, and lay important groundwork in preparation for pre-school and kindergarten.
Service offers:
- a family centred approach
- support of a Child and Family Development Aide, who consults with the family to develop goals and give guidance on strategies
- in-home programming
- 16 weekly group sessions over 6 months to introduce skills and strategies to help support early growth and development
- support in addressing essential development areas for children including communication, social skills, following instructions, attending to activities, fine motor skills, gross motor skills.
