Service provides:

• guidance and encouragement for families while children are growing through every stage of development, including prenatal, newborn, toddler, children, and teens
• extra support and information on parenting and child development

Includes:

• Home Visitation - parent educator meets in the home, community, or office; offers advice on healthy attachment, parenting tips, developmental screenings, and referrals
• Parent Coaching - parent coach meets in the home, community, or office; mentorship, support, improved relationship with your peers, family, and community; staff are trained in the Triple P curriculum
• Health for Two - includes support for teen pregnancy, low / no income, poor nutrition, history of substance abuse, history of family violence, single parent, language / cultural barriers, history of mental health illnesses, and / or current
• Developmental Screens - staff trained in using Ages and Stages and Nipissing child development screens; individuals and caregivers will receive immediate feedback and staff will provide strategies and appropriate activities to try at home; referrals can be made
