Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program

Provides child amputees with financial assistance for artificial limbs and peer support.
Service offers:
funding for standard and specialized artificial limbs and devices, as well as ongoing adjustments and repairs
financial assistance towards the cost of travel to and from prosthetic centres
connecting child amputees and their families with others who understand the experience of living with amputation
older members of the CHAMP Program (Junior Counsellors) who provide peer support and guidance to younger amputees and their families
funding for assistive devices for children with multiple amputations to help with independence
