Aboriginal Child and Family Support Program

Provides services and support to families and youth involved with Child and Family Services.
Service provides:
trauma-informed and culturally grounded services and supports to families and youth who are involved with Child and Family Services
Includes:
advocacy, guidance, and emotional support in case planning, court, and case conferences
personalized wellness planning and safety planning
support through crises, transitions, and family reunification
assistance with accessing basic needs, transportation, income support, and child benefits
support in accessing culturally appropriate medical, mental health, and addiction services
access to traditional knowledge, Elders, and ceremonies, and support reconnecting with culture, language, and identity
coordination with other service providers to ensure continuity of care
