Service offers:

• an inclusive, play-based learning environment for children at select elementary schools

Goals include:

• developing speech, language, and motor skills
• learning to share, problem solve, and express themselves
• developing positive attitudes toward learning
• building self-esteem and confidence
• developing social and behavioural skills

Programs include:

• Kindergarten - supports students in building important skills and behaviours in an inclusive, play-based environment
• Pre-Kindergarten - builds children's strengths and skills in a playful, language-rich environment; supports children who have developmental delays, have a first language other than English, or identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit (FNMI)
• Full-day Kindergarten - supports children living in socially vulnerable neighbourhoods who would benefit from extra time in class to build important skills in an inclusive, play-based environment
• Specialized Services / Specialized Therapy Educational and Play Program (STEPP) - supports families with children who need intensive support for chronic, developmental, physical, sensory, mental, or neurological conditions or impairments that significantly limit their child’s ability to function in normal daily life
