To provide programs and services to uphold the quality of life of the residents of Banff, including maintaining the townsite as part of the World Heritage Site, providing visitors with accommodation and other goods and services, providing a range of interpretive and orientation services to Park visitors, maintaining a community character which is consistent with and reflects the surrounding environment, and providing a living community for those persons who need to reside in the townsite in order to achieve its primary function.
