To access service:
- phone for information on intake, making an appointment and other questions
- visit website to complete a pet surrender intake form and make an appointment
- send an e-mail to contact the animal admissions team (e-mail is the preferred and quickest way to contact the team)
The shelter cannot accept unscheduled drop-offs of pets.
When surrendering smaller animals, please bring them in with a hand-held kennel to ensure safe transportation and handling for staff.
Contact your vet to inform them that you are surrendering your animal and authorize them to share your pet’s records with the Calgary Humane Society.
