Provides services to adults with a physical and / or neurological functional loss and who would benefit from 2 or more rehabilitation therapies. Serves all of Central Zone.
The service helps clients and their families and / or caregivers to reach the best physical, emotional, thinking, and spiritual health possible. This program helps clients to function as independently as possible and within their own community.
Includes those with:
- stroke
- neurological conditions
- orthopaedic conditions
- post-traumatic conditions.
Patients participate in daily intensive rehabilitation therapy sessions based on their needs. Patients on Unit 35 require 24-hour nursing care in addition to their rehabilitation needs, but are medically stable.
