Provides supports for adults with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injury, who have different levels of independence.
Service offers:
- Meaningful Options for Role Enhancement (MORE) Program that helps adults with developmental disabilities seek meaningful activities, discover interests, and develop valued, meaningful roles in the community
- Outreach Program that supports adults with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injury who have certain degrees of independence yet require some support in daily living
- Support Home Program that contracts private home owners in the community to provide living options for adults with developmental disabilities
- Residential Program that provides 10 residences offering support and supervision in daily living based on each individual’s needs
MORE Program includes the exploration of opportunities in:
- recreation
- volunteering
- leisure
- education
- employment
- and other types of activities
Outreach Program includes:
- support, assistance, and training for individuals to meet their day-to-day needs (such as cooking, budgeting, and grocery shopping)
- support that is varied in frequency and intensity based on individual needs, ranging from 1 hour per week to approximately 40 hours per week
- access to an emergency on-call number for assistance at any time
Support Home Program includes:
- support in areas identified as meeting the individual's needs (such as cooking, problem solving, and community involvement)
- various living options such as room and board, independent basement suite, or living with a roommate
Residential Program includes:
- staffing support from 15 to 24 hours each day
- 2 residences with 4 suites for individuals who require more support than other programs can provide, but who still wish to have their own apartment-type accommodation
- a transition suite for individuals to live for a predetermined amount of time to try independent living, be assessed, learn specific skills, or receive support while alternate services are put in place
